XSProjek is a response to the increasing social and environmental challenges created by the things we throw away. We upcycle consumer and corporate waste such as plastic pouches bought from trash pickers, used billboards, car seat upholstery, advertising banners and flags.
Traditional Indonesian batik fabric is incorporated into many of our products to demonstrate how simple waste can become new, unique products.

The workshops that the XSProject Team have run for our students are informative and engaging and have led to some interesting partnerships between XSProjek and BSJ students. One team of students was inspired to design their own products and they worked closely with the XS Team to design and see their drawings of a pencil case and sling bag being created and sold. The students enjoyed setting up a stall and helping to sell the items in one of our school Festive Sales.
